Infant 6 weeks to 18 months
Our infant room is a warm, nurturing space designed to support each baby’s growth and development through age-appropriate activities, sensory play, and individualized attention. We maintain a low caregiver-to-child ratio to ensure every infant receives the care, comfort, and stimulation they need to thrive. Consistent routines, soft surroundings, and responsive care help foster a strong sense of security and trust.
Toddler 19-24 months
Our toddler room for children 18–24 months is designed to encourage exploration, independence, and early social skills in a safe and structured environment. Through hands-on activities, music, movement, and guided play, toddlers build confidence while developing language, motor, and cognitive skills. Daily routines provide consistency, while nurturing teachers support each child’s unique learning journey.
Preschool 3-years-old
Our preschool room is structured to promote school readiness through a balanced mix of play-based learning and structured activities. Children engage in early literacy, math, science, and creative expression while developing critical thinking, problem-solving, and social-emotional skills. With a strong focus on independence and collaboration, our preschoolers are prepared for a smooth transition into kindergarten.
Pre-Kindergarten 4-year-Olds
Our pre-kindergarten room is designed to build on foundational skills and prepare children academically and socially for kindergarten. Through a structured curriculum that includes reading readiness, math concepts, science exploration, and writing activities, children gain confidence and competence. We also emphasize social development, responsibility, and critical thinking to support the whole child in their final year before school.
School Age Ages 5 to 8
Our school-age program offers a structured yet engaging environment for children before and after school, as well as full-day care during school breaks. We provide homework support, enrichment activities, and opportunities for creativity, teamwork, and physical play. The focus is on fostering independence, responsibility, and continued social and academic growth in a safe, supportive setting.
Our Approach
At Little Learners Day Care Center, we are committed to providing a safe, structured, and nurturing environment where children from infancy through school-age can grow, learn, and thrive.
We serve infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-age children with age-appropriate programming that supports every stage of development. Our approach blends structured routines with engaging, play-based learning that promotes cognitive, social-emotional, and physical development. From first words to early writing and problem-solving, our classrooms are designed to support the individual needs of each age group.
We incorporate bilingual instruction (English and Spanish) across all classrooms to support early language acquisition and cultural awareness. Our curriculum is rooted in New York State Early Learning Guidelines and includes daily activities focused on early literacy, math readiness, science exploration, creative expression, and social development.
Our trained staff use consistent routines, positive reinforcement, and individualized support to help every child feel secure and capable. We emphasize communication with families to ensure a strong partnership that supports each child’s success.
At Little Learners, we don’t just care for children—we build the foundation for lifelong learning.
